Congratulations to Micah and Melissa Holton! Melissa contacted me a few months ago and was so nervous because she didn't realize that photographers were booked so early in the engagement. She was worried that she wasn't going to find a good photographer in time. Luckily, I recieved an inquiry from her and I was available.
The wedding day was unpredictable. Considering that there was a 100% chance of rain, the rain held off until right before the ceremony. The processional had just begun when the rain began to fall. Thank goodness Melissa had already had a backup plan and it worked perfectly. I must admit, the unpredictability of the rain made this wedding really fun. I wish we could have brought out the umbrellas for some chic rain shots but we were having so much fun, we didn't even worry about it.
This wedding was one of the most gorgeous weddings I've ever seen. To put it simply, it was simple, elegant and chic. Nothing over the top and very tasteful, in my opinion. Melissa and Micah were meant to be, and the whole area resonated with love. Family and friends made the commute to the Briar's Bed and Breakfast in Natchez, MS to witness the two make a lifelong commitment to each other.
