Jessica & Tyler | Shreveport Engagement Session | Louisiana Photographer
Jessica & Tyler are engaged! I spent a whole afternoon getting to know Jessica during her wedding consultation a while back and I got so excited about her engagement session. We originally wanted to do her session in a sunflower field but it was too unpredictable and we ended up going to a family friend's residence in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The private residence features a beautiful home and rustic barn on a large property with pond in the front and river in the back. Needless to say, the property was gorgeous and had a ton of places for us to shoot. One of my favorite things about this location was the beautiful willow tree. It was fun to shoot through and the colors are gorgeous. We even had an appearance from Bandit, their adorable dog. Of course, I love puppies so I was thrilled to spend some time with their fur baby.
For me, one of my favorite moments was when the hooks came out for the ring shot and I asked Jessica if she wanted me to use the treble hook or not. I love her reply, "Tyler, did hear what she said!?! She knows what that hook is called! The treble hook!" I definitely made my husband proud when I told him about it... And even prouder when he saw the pictures. We endured the heat and the mosquitos and went home at dusk. This is truly one engagement session for the books.
